    Controlled Explosion

My friends and I made rocket fuel today, with sugar and potassium nitrate.

Does the sugar make the smoke sweet?
Looks like fun. I'm sure you were careful.

The smoke was black and it was not pleasant. But it did leave a really thick white, almost caramelized residue.

Ha ha!!!!! We used to do that when we were about 11 years old and loved it!!! Your images have 'reignited' memories that were long forgotten!

Of the three, the final image wins my vote, the flame works really nicely.

    Thanks for sharing!

    Haha, thanks.
I cut my finger after doing this in a mason jar at first and the jar kinda exploded. It was not fun to pick up some of the pieces.
