    Contemplation

I'm trying to win a Nikon P&S in a Local Newspaper contest. I'll post the five I'm thinking about so far maybe I can get some feedback as to which if any I should submit.

    Re: Contemplation

Although the lightingis a bit harsh on the upper portion of the statue it helps it stand out from its' surroundings. The framing looks good, perhaps a bit tighter cropped would be better. I like the trees framing up the subject here. A bit more detail would be good in the dark areas of the statues mid section. you should be able to tweak some out in your editing software. Personally I don't think this is a shot to enter in a contest as it comes off as rather typical (or touristy) but thats just my opinion. It is not a bad shot.
