    Consumed in Urban Delicacy

    Times Square.

I didn't take this picture; my friend did.

I am not sure I understand?
    Who took this photograph?
    You or a friend?
    If you did. GREAT!
If your friend did, please only post your own photography and not something that you did not do. Especially in this forum.
We get into lots of issues when someone posts a photograph not done by them.
If your friend is equally interested in photography then please encourage him or her to join!
    Thanks!

Sorry, just now recognized the typo. It was my friend who took it and it was taken completely by mistake. He has a really old 1.9 megapixel camera and he doesn't really do anything with photography. The only reason he was taking pictures was because we were on a trip to New York. I posted the picture because I really like it and I know he would never join a photography forum--so I figured there would be nothing wrong with sharing it. As long as I don't claim it as my own, I see no harm in sharing a photo that would be otherwise forgotten.

That's reasonable. However, as a serious photography site, where issues of ownership are very real and important, it's best that we be vigilant about only posting our own photos. So please only post photos that you've taken. If you really like the photo and want it on the site, encourage your friend to register and participate.

    Thanks for understanding and cooperating!
