    Hi John,

    This is a nice shot of a fire engine. I like the angle you shot it from, but I think it could benefit from having an interesting person in the frame. Maybe a spectator in the foreground or a fire fighter hanging from the side of the truck. Obviously, you couldn't reschedule the parade, but the over head lighting is a little harsh too.

    Nice shot I like the angle also, but IMHO it looks more like it would be a static image in a sales brochure. The shot seems motionless like the truck is standing still.

    My suggestions: I would have tried to get some motion blur- the wheels blurred, maybe the background blurred... lights going on the truck would have been nice (I am surprised for a parade that they didn't have them on) and like was already stated a fireman or men in the frame would help it or even someone waving.
