I like this as well, Tuna. Simple, effective comp and deep contrast is perfect to get to the point. Great spotting

    Re: Coming and Going

    Nice spotting indeed Tuna,

What has especially drawn my attention ot this image is your Push sign. The alternating letters which are flipped versus the alternating letters upon which flipping has no effect. As a dyslexic I caught myself looking at this for quite a while trying to figure out why they labeled the door so confusingly and what the heck was wrong with that P. The "S" is less noticeable to me as a flipped letter. The title is a good lead up to what you will see.

P.S. Did you know there is an old dance song by Rufus Thomas called (Do the) Push and Pull? I was instantly reminded of that.

    Good catch.

That is just a nice humorous shot Tuna. The composition just works -- even at the reduced resolution required to post here. Good eye, nice work.

Thanks for the comments, folks. I also found it amusing that the attempt to clarify only added to any confusion. Then, I was only happy to add to that confusion by using the reflective and transmissive elements that were present.

    Tuna,

I missed this one yesterday - I'm sure that the forum doesn't always show new or modified items.

As for the photo its very amusing - are those car lights reflected above the PULL? I like how the hour number is highlighted over the rest of the signs.

Great eye to capture this gem! I love images that find the unusual among the mundane! Great reflections!

    Really neat!

My gaze is naturally drawn to the right were the handle is but then that small arrow bring me back to the center of the frame.

    Very well seen.
