    Colors at Mardi Gras

    (Some alterations *level adjustments* done in Photoshop LE.)

    The image was taken in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, on 21 February 2004.

    Camera: Nikon N8008s.
    Lens: AF 90mm f2.8 'D' Macro Tamron.
    Film: Fuji Reala 100.
    Flash: Nikon SB-25.

    This is a different take on that wild time. It certainly does highlight the array of colors, and good job in filling the frame with the bold colors. I like it.

    Glad you enjoyed the colors! Saturday was near perfect weather wise, but the bus trip was cancelled for weather on Fat Tuesday. Have to wait for next year......

    A bit too "Photoshoppy" looking IMO. I suspect there are many scenes to be had there where no Levels adjustment at all would be necessary to show "a wall of colors" sort of look.

    good to some folks and some is not good to some folks.
    A middle ground is tough to achieve.

    One can please a few persons some of the time;
    one can dis-please a few persons from time to time;
    but one cannot please every person one hundred percent of the time.
