color spotting question

I posted this pic the other night,what i noticed when i enlarged it was that there are color spots in the pic,I am wanting to know if ther is a problem with my camera,i have a nikon d60,I shot the pic with my 55-200 nikon lens,

I am not 100% sure but the spots look like hot pixels which would be a sensor problem. Is it there even when you change lenses? If it is hot pixels you will have to remove them with PS using the clone stamp or healing brush. It also could be dust on the sensor. I would try a cleaning first.

They are hot pixels. Usually they're only apparent in long exposures. Every digital camera I've ever seen has them to some degree, as the camera gets older you'll generally see more of them.

I appreciate it guys,I was getting worried that my camera had a problem,I should be able to edit that stuff out with photoshop.:thumbsup:
