my first reaction is to say Color!

paying attention the desaturated image has more detail in the center which I like better
if the color one had the same good detail in the center I would definitively would keep the color one

You know, they are both good. The desaturated one definitely makes you focus more on the detail and structure, but I am not sure it is better that the color. There you go. Critique from Ambiguity R Us.

I think they are both great and equally beautiful. Is there any way you could tone down the color one just a little to bring back the detail, but not bring it down that much? You could even bring down the saturation only in the center, so that you can keep all the pink.

I don't think this one would work in black and white, but I find the spot color image very appealing. It has a Big Time vintage feeling to it! It is sort of neat seeing it next to the colored one, but I think it stands on its own too. The color one is OK also, but I find the yellow a bit too overwhelming. Great work.

My vote is for desaturated. Flower pics are a dime a dozen, the desat also makes it slightly more unique.
