    Color or black and white?

Here are two versions of the same photo. I took the color one, cropped it, and used Color Mixer to do a contrasty black and white conversion. I personally like the B&W better, but the color has its charms. (The third photo is of the same woman, and is also in B&W. I like the third one best of all). Opinions?

Stephen, I'd have to go with the top one. I'm not really into nose rings(sorry, I'm a traditional guy, I like my women unmarked ), but aside from that I think color does this picture more justice. The eye shadow, wig, and mascara you can't really appreciate in b/w (am I making sense?).

Yeah, I understand your point. The color does have its virtues. Basically, I like the hard look of the black and white. It sort of undercuts the fake "glamour" of her outfit and make up and draws the eye to her features, and the lines and angle of the scene.

B&W for me. I think it has something the colour doesn't. I don't know what that something is, but my eyes like it better.

i think the color has more of a snapshot look. Go with b&w.

I'd go with black and white also. You do lose the wig effect and such (and the sunglasses seem to disappear) I still think it gives a more "moodful" picture than the color.

The last one is interesting too, well done,
