This is really, really nice. I love the intensity of the sun, and the coolness of the ground.
Can I ask how you achieve this look? Every time I try to include the sun in a photo, you either can't see the sun itself, or everything else is very underexposed. Is this a post-processing thing?
HDR mate and seven exposures at that to try and retain some detail in the sun.............didn't process all the shots but really needed the -3EV shot

Great color and texture in the sky. Very nice hint of glow in the foreground. The light in this work is brilliant, but this is not a typical shot where the light is perfect for traditional photography. Way to strike a blow...
you usually carry your camera (and tripod?) into the office ?
Tripod lives in the car, and quite often grab the backpack on the way in

It does look amazing. What were the settings of the image? Shutter speed, aperture, and the glass you used? (or is there a way for me to tell these settings without asking)
It may only be me, but the edges may be a tad blurry around the treeline?
Very nice VM. I've shot a few sunsets/sunrises as HDRs and don't think I've ever gotten one as nice. Not sure about the black borders but,... it sure looks like a Hollywood film.

Absolutely incredible! The ground almost looks brought to life in the foreground there.
I've got a couple of shots of sunsets on my photography blog. http://nocando.blogieren.com Critique is always welcome!
