i prefer your first image here. and once again i think your painting rendition is great. what medium do you use? i was always a 'drawer' illustrator type, just never went in to painting beyond pastels. loved the textures of pastel. but i haven't done anything in a long time. how would i start painting? just practice on your own? i'm scared of mixing paints i think lol.
