    Clown Face - Holga

This is another photograph from my recent Vegas trip. I saw this clown face on one of the casinos and couldn't resist. It was a little dark as you can see, so I "built up" the exposure so to speak. The Holga has shutter speed of about 1/100 of a second, this was made up of about five total exposures. All hand held.
    What do you think?

Cool! This is definitely my favorite so far. I think clowns are scary anyway and you've definitely driven that home!

You reminded me why grown men cry about clowns....thanks In all seriousness, I like it, the blur adds a nice effect.

    Nice shot,

Brian, you are really good with that Holga. you have nailed the exposure just right. It's well framed and composed as well. It does look like an evil Clown coming out of a nightmare. Very effective. Did you try many different exposure combinations on the roll?

Yes I did Gary, I did this one and one more. The second one was two or three exposures and was very thin.

    Brian-
IT revisited! Eek. I get the willies from clowns. I think this would be more effective to me anyway, without the neon sign at the bottom...
You really work that Holga Brian- I love it.

I really like this Holga shot. I'm not a holga fan overall but this shot absolutely works beautifully with that style. IMO it's the sorta shot that screems Holga. I think all the elements work really well together. The lights in the back and at the bottom, the tones, the placement of the clown and also his size are all just perfect. I even love the slight softness and blur. It's also kinda scary which also adds to the feel. Very nicely done.
