What an intense look you are getting. I like the graininess and the close framing.

    Those eyes! OMG!

Very good shot. I can't help but to keep looking into those eyes and wondering what is going on in her mind. Nice.

Though your little girl is obviously gorgeous, especially those eyes, she has the look on her of "Mom! I don't have time for this! I have to go to school!". LOL which actually makes this pic so priceless. Another thing, it's crystal clear. You're lucky to have such an expressive, though maybe reluctant (in this shot) model.

Reluctant she's not! I specifically told her not to smile at me. She was making her fake picture smile face. Shortly after this one, came these....

    okay, the image would help

Badly focused, yes, but I'm going to print it anyway...

I try not to pose or direct her too much, but I can only take so much of the cheezy grin

I like this one the best actually. I think the soft (you call it badly focused ) focus makes it very warm and inviting. Would be a nice 8x10 to have in a frame.

    Awww..

That one is just precious! The focus makes it kind of dreamy, like remembering back when they were that age. Years from now you'll even like it better. My opinion is .. Print it.the bigger the better.

    Adina,

I love the first one, so whimsical.

Beautifully expressive. I keep staring the picture waiting for her to either smile or yell at me! Really Great!

I couldn't agree more! I get a very similar feeling. She has a very 'hard to define expression'. This ambiguity makes me look twice.
