    This is beautiful Roger,I really like the composition and the colours, great job. Perhaps cropping out the reflection on the right hand iside?

    I think a crop from the top would improve this one greatly. I like the light generally but that yellow bit at the top I find ito be totally distracting.

    It's probably just me, but there's so much going on with the water, and the log is so brightly hit with the low sun, that the boat doesn't seem to stand out as much as I think it should. If it were a more brightly colored boat, I think it would grab my attention more. Though it does jump out more with Tom's suggestion.

    What about this crop? I must admit I wasn't sure where to crop this photo because I'm not sure if the island is now too close to the edge of the picture.

    What do you think?
