    Clock

Hi, I've been lurking here for a while. Everyone here is so talented, let me tell you it is intimidating. I have finally worked up the nerve to share one of mine. This is the officers wardroom clock from the U.S.S. Omaha. It belonged to hubby's grandfather. I used window lighting only and I used the sepia setting on the camera (digital). I welcome any comments/constructive suggestions.

I like the angle you shot it at, your depth of field and the use of sepia seems to match the subject.

    Looking good.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    Re: Clock

I agree with MB1 - love the angle and sepia. For me, I think I'd like just a touch more depth of field, such that the center of the clock hands were a little more in focus. But that's purely an artistic choice.

I think it's a great image as-is. Simple, great subject that offers enough intrigue on its own, and the shot captured that element perfectly.
