    Talking Cleveland Air Show Set of 7

    The Blue Angels flew around for long time but they were so hard to catch right! Plus all of the haze from the smoke and stuff. At one point I yelled "STOP MOVING!" It was so exciting yet so frustrating at the same time =P They flew RIGHT over us but unfortunately I didnt get a shot. :mad2: I did get a few relatively good shots. I used the sport mode --of course =P-- on my Kodak EasyShare Z650 if that means anything to you guys... Even though I probably wont see any blue angels to take pictures of I'd still appreciate your critique.

    I didnt edit these pictures in any way except a little cropping on the jet photos.

    All that is gold does not glitter,
    Not all those who wander are lost;
    The old that is strong does not wither,
    Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
    From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
    A light from the shadows shall spring;
    Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
    The crownless again shall be king.

    I think your did pretty well photographing them. I would up the contrast a little to make the planes stand our more in the sky. It's difficult when they're moving so fast.

    I like the second one in the jet series the best (personaly). The angle of the planes and and the con trails make for a pretty good subject. I know someone who loves to shoot the thunderbirds and it can be a challenge to get good jots. He uses fast medium length zoom lenses to get his shots. Even at that this is about the hardest thing to do with a camera. This is where the camera systems either can do or fail. Combining fast lenses with autofocus systems that must stay locked on a target traveling at 600 mph is a challange that most cameras can have trouble with.

    My favorite picture is the section sign. I like the composition, the leading lines and the contrast between the sign post and the dark blue sky. The clouds are an added bonus.

    It is very hard... I thought it would be cool to just go in the middle of nowhere and have them do stuff in the air for me but I know Id probably have to pay for them and I cant do that =P But I was pleased with the outcome of most of my pictures, lol...

    The sign turned out surprisingly well for me, I loved how it turned out and felt I had to share it =)
