    Cleopatrias chair, critique please.

    Found this one in my files from this summer, i can't decide if i like it alot or not. i'm nto sure if there is enough of a subject or not for people that wern't actually there. plus any other critique.

    no post editing, taken from hans flat ranger station in the maze district of canyonlands national park. Taken at sunrise looking northish with cleopatria's chair as the main stone formation.

    Dylan,

    I love the sky, the ever so relaxing colors are very soothing to the eye, and those three horizons are great, nice repition, however I think the bottom is too black, and not interesting enough to be just a silhouette.

    I agree nice sky and mountain ranges. You might try croping down to the 3 mt ranges and the sky to see how that looks.

    thanks for the replies everyone, like i said i was just wondering if there was enough of a subject to hold people interest.

    and alot of the ridges you see arn't mountains, but plateaus above canyons.

    i did like the lower part with more contrast, but it blew the upper part out alot, and i'm still not sure if i agree with only altering part of an image, plus no skills to do so.
