I think this is just great! At first I saw it as a combination of two separate photos. When I realized how you composed it I saw the real quality of the picture.

I like it but would like it better if you had included the top of the sign.

Well done, Yoyo. I think this is a clever comp that works well. A nit pik would be that there are alot of people standing around and just a few "sneakers" walking by. I think the ideal shot would be to wait for a moment when there is a little less jumble of people standing around and you can get a woman in heels to walk by. I think that what you have here still works well.
good to see you on .

It would not be easy to get a shot with only a few people walking on the streets in Hong Kong during the daytime though, especially if you want shops and commercial signs/bill boards Full of signs, people and cars, that's what Hong Kong is.

This would have been even more successful than it is already if all those people had been hell bent on where they were going and in a bit of a mad rush to get there (to Clarks I suppose) instead of stopping and wasting their time talking about fashion and the best cure for hangovers.
Very good Yoyo and a well deserved sticky.

Hi Don, Thanks for the kind words. I was the billboard that caught my attention first.

Hi Frog, I could not agree more. I wish I had included more of the billboard.

Hi Gary, Thanks fa lot or the sticky! Yes, I agree with your suggestions about lesser people in the foreground, as it would result in a clearer comparison.

Hi Aging-Eyes, You know Hong Kong well. I suppose Gary's suggestion is possible in the early morning.

Hi Tom, Thanks for the kind words and I like your perspective which I did not have.

Hi Grey, I am glad that you mentioned the colour which I alos like.

Re: To Clarks or Not to Clarks

I agree with the others about wishing the top of the sign, or at least the top of the letters, weren't cut off. That said though, this is an awesome scene with some wonderful tones. Very well seen and captured. Congrats on the sticky
