    Christmas Present!

    Here is my Chow Puppy in his photo shoot.....His name is Chi-Ching(hence my screen name)
    The picture is very saturated and gold toned but most of that is my lighting. We have ordered a lighting kit and I will try to reproduce this picture with some better lighting...... but for now.....what do you think??

    wider aperature definately. the background is too distracting. I like how you have set this one up though. a lighting kit would definately have the dog stand out more. That would help with the background. Also I would tone down the reds a bit. Its a great animal portrait. They are diffucult!

    Agree with Noahyay. The background is quite busy, but that's an easy fix. Would be interested to reshoot with the new lighting...
