Hey - if you can't be a little cheesy at Christmas, when can you be? It's exactly the kind of photo that grannies and aunties love. Technically it looks excellent too - the lighting is just right. I am not entirely sure about all of them looking out of the photo though (although the dog makes it cute) - I am guessing you tried that various ways. Also, I detect the rug from the piano photo!

    Cheers

Seb, this is some of the best tasting cheese I had in a while, and I got a lot of cheese over the holidays! I like the entire set up. Lighitng is right and the expressions are very good as well as the poses. I too, find that it may have worked better for me if the two persons were looking at the camera with big cheesy grins, but still this is very fun. Good work.

Didache: Thanks for commenting. Indeed, this is the piano rug, the piano isn't that far away... lol About them gazing out of the picture, I meant this as a parody of some family portraits of the 80's. I also have a shot with them looking at the camera but I didn't really liked the result.

Gary: Thanks for sharing your view. I'd like to go even cheesier but I would probably need a stylist assistant for that!

    regards

    Hello Seb
It's a pity you did not give those curtains a quick coat of paint, same colour as the wall please, before setting the timer. And for goodness sake what is in those big boxes? And why did you not hide the spare leg in the cupboard? And where did you get that tie? And where's your yellow hard hat, with that big star hovering so close?
Maybe you are all looking straight at the camera and some one else took the photograph?
Very nice Christmassy photograph and you are a very nice couple and look very happy together. And doggie is lovely too. This one would never offend the outlaws.

    Very nice (oh! and cheesy)

Hey, no problem Tom. I realise that my presentation was ambiguous. As for the curtains, the thing is that this wasn't shot in my house. I'd like to paint them put I can't afford to do a total mess... lol
