Since you left them in there I assume you wanted the car reflection and the "Closed" and "Business Hours" signs in your image. That makes this an image of a storefront and as such fairly interesting. The light is good if a little contrasty and the image is nice and sharp.
I too think that shooting from a different angle would show the figurines to better advantage (as would a closer shot) but such an image wouldn't indicate that this is a store front. However no where in the image do I see anything to show that this is a restaurant.

ok I keep saying I'll stop but I never do. I am a sharpening addict.
Ya need to go talk to a psychologist. Oops, your profile says you are one
I second CF's comment: you might be ruining a lot of shots that could use a different type of PPing. There's a lot of tools for editing. But, I guess when it comes to a decision of pleasing yourself or someone else, yourself usually wins.

I like the subject here, Don. The different angle idea may work but the most interesting aspect of this is as MB stated the reflection of the car and the signs. My big problem with this is that shooting through a window, especially one that is not spotless, gives you some glare and, well, dirt and stuff which is very emphasized now due to your high power sharpening tool
You do have a knack for unusual perspectives of unusual subjects and thats what makes you most interesting.
Keep it up
Thanks dfor understanding GB. I don't really sharpen that much just one click on the sharpening tool. The images always look so limp on my screen.
Don, do you usually print your images? The screen is not a fraction of the sharpness and res of a print. Your screen will only produce up to roughly 72ppi as opposed to a print (inkjet) which can produce 300 or more. I have many photos that look ok on screen as far as sharpness goes but can not compare with the images in my prints. no matter how much you sharpen it will always look a lot duller on screen, but oversharpening starts to degrade an image into fuzzy pixels.
btw, just one click is all it takes. . .if the setting is very high. For web display, I usually go with the unsharp mask setting of .6-8 radius, 0-2 threshold, and 50-80 strength.
Now I use smart sharpen on CS2, which seems to work a bit better for web display images.
Don you may be just clicking the shapen tool. instead try. Filter>Sharpen>Unsharp Mask and then adjust the sliders as Gary stated. Once you sharpen an image and save there is no undoing it, so be careful with it.

You should always copy your photos to an editing directory so your editing a copy. That way you can always step back to the unedited.

Thanks Gary, Greg and GRF. I appreciate the suggestions. I'll try to behave.
I only print a fraction of my images. I can't think what to do with a lot of prints. I rotate them through the house. I tend to make slide shows. for instance:
