    Chinese Boots

This is a traditional Chinese pharmacy. The couple are the owners of the shop. They kindly allowed me to take a photo of their premise. Welcome your views.

How I wish We had chemists like that over here instead of the monterous, plastic, sheds, staffed by zombies that pass as shops but that everybody seems to love.
I love shots like this and I hope the couple and their shop survives for ever. The white bag on the counter is a bit swollen but the chemists appear to be working on that.
When I was in China recently and had a wonderful foot massage by a blind practitioner and I was walking on air for hours afterwards.
Was the picture taken in HK or China Yoyo.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan

Hi pointbreak, You are right about the exposure. I guess a merge between two digitally exposed shots would help.

Hi Tom, The shot was taken in Tai O, a village in Hong Kong. It is a shame that shops like this are disappearing here. I am glad that the shot refreshes your memory.

I rarely have anything to add when viewing your photos Yoyo. They all are wonderful, and I still enjoy seeing your point of view on life. Photos like this remind me of some classic B&W photojournalism work from a time ago.

If some one showed me this pic i would know instantly who took it. The old Yoyo that i prefer, the one that brings china to life through these great pics of every day life. A simple crop of the top removes most of the overblown parts. Well done.
