Strange photo. I sort of like how all the pieces lie there. But there's also a softness to the photo that takes away from it all, not sure, but looks like it might be due to camera shake. The black and white, I am not sure it adds to this photo... It might have been better to stick with color. The b&w all seems to be at the same middle tonal range, makes for a somewhat faded look (which MAY be what you were shooting for? It does see retro).

Anyway, I'd like to see the same composition with cooking spices. I think I will try that one day soon.

Here you have a color one..

On the B&W I use Soft Focus from Picasa to drive the attraction to the big face, don't know if was a good idea or not... the little "angel" on the right and the hand in the middle looks like they are seeking for help while other faces and the "guy" on the bottom left seems to be enjoying the falling pieces. The big face on the middle looks like she is ready to face destiny.

This has great potential, but I'd shoot with a tripod and a small aperature to get a nice crisp photo. The black and white is good. For some reason I wouldn't mind seeing a sepia hue to it, but that's more me. Play with lighting also. I think the different shadow or lack of shadows could really create some great photos.

Came out a little sharper (b&w softness due to resizing maybe?). Definitely eery though.

    thanks for your comment...

    About the tripod:

Well, I took this with aperture 32, the speed was about a second.
It was a tripod involve in this shot.
I put the timer and flash in one hand and few china pieces on the other hand.
When I heard the camera shot I release the pieces and when they where in the air I shot the flash.

All this china is now garbage so is no going to be a second or third shot...;)
