I can see the image. The lighting and color is very flat (hard to tell the grass is green). Compositionaly (and thematically), I can tell what you are after. But, I'd say work it some more to get that special shot.

How can I change that? I used the B/W feature in my camera(Konica Minolta A2) I am still learning what many of the features do. How do I make it not look so flat?

Whoops! I didn't even know it was black and white. As far as the image looking flat, it looks under-exposed (dark).
