Love the pose and the soft, blurred background.

The chickadee's expression is also very nice.

About improving the shot - hmm - in my opinion there's not much to improve, it's nearly perfect as is!

A little Unsharp Mask & Curves adjust will add "pop", since the glass panes somewhat soften the image.

Thank you! I appreciate the time you've spent looking and commenting. When I first 'discovered' PS Elements (just last month???), I got carried away and moved all the sliders just because I could. I still have not developed the 'eye' to know how they should look so have decided that too little post processing is better than too much. I will try some more with Sharpening and Levels.

Also, I've been working on the macro tips you sent. Hanging a 10# weight off the center post on my flimsy tripod seemed to make a noticeable difference. I'll have to post another try to see if it's better.

Again thanks for any criticism. It’s hard to improve when you cannot see what’s wrong.
