    Check-R-Mix

On my way through Lander. Just liked the look of the old mill.

Wow, I really like the building, the power line takes away from the stunning mountians and sky. I think I would try and clone them out...

I find the power line slightly distracting as well, but this can easily be fixed by cropping or photoshop.

HOWEVER, I LOVE THE COMPOSITION OF THIS PHOTOGRAPH! It takes the eye on a journey from the grain elevator, to the white and red building, to the mountainous area in the back ground. It mixes color combination strangely found only in rural America. Very nice--I like this!

For the essence of a work of art is, after all, that it cuts out a piece of the endlessly continuous sequences of perceived experience, detaching it from all connections with one side or the other, giving it a self-sufficient form as though defined and held together by an inner core.

In the original post I had removed the light pole, I usually don't endorse the removal of objects in a photo, if it's there I tend to leave it there. This was so busy I decided to break my rules and remove the light and pole. I'm not the best with PSP but in this post, the first shot is the original, the second is with the wire removed. I fear I overdid it a little with the post processing. This was shot with my S2 as my SLR was sitting at home, so all I had to work with was a JPEG.
