    Re: cell phone abstract

Sorry polarbeardiggers, none of these work for me I think they lack a central focus and are a bit flat in colour, even though some have a nice perspective going for them. I think the problem is that they are stuck between reality and abstractness. They aren't real enough to be really real or abstract enough to be abstract. I think if you're going for the abstract then make it so we don't even know what the objects are and just concentrate on the lines and shapes. Hope that helped!

Polarbeardiggers, I think I see what you going for-I can see the perspective. The steal is cold and hard and you can definitely pick up on that in the shots. I'm not really too sure what exactly abstract is, but I'm thinking maybe a BW version might make the second shot work for you? I liked the steal leading your eyes down, but then it leads to a wall so it sort of falls flat. I think with BW it might give it a little umph? Just my two (untrained eye's worth) cents.

thanks for viewing, and i think your right,my cell phone can convert the images to black and white along with sepia, and negative as well,i was going for the shapes and lines in the shot,my favorite was the third, the way i unintentionally placed the cut tubes in that fashion, kind of looked interesting, the first and last are my own cuttings from the saw,the second is what i have been cutting down for this whole week, but your input is greatly appreciated.
