I like this one a lot. I like the way the catwalk appears to head off into nothingness.

Thank you ptax...it went into what should have been a populated area ..but was ..pretty much nothingness... except for the fountain.. which will come.

Very nice..sharp. I think I'd rather see the top of the arch but then you'd lose the good walkway so its a choice.

    Re: The Catwalk at Dusk

I prefer the image with the top of the arc included.

I think that technically you did a really good job here. The exposure, color, contrast and focus seem right on. But overall I think it needs another element to make this a top notch image.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    Rod,

I like this picture as is with the arch included. However I think this needs a ghostly image of someone walking away to make a real winner. I really like the colours in the roof of the walkway.

I think if you look closely; about 1/2 way up the ramp there is exactly what you describe and request......
    No, I DON'T need that.

    Re: The Catwalk at Dusk

Thx Mb for your comments. Maybe I needed a couple leaning against the rail half embraced?..remaining verry still..Roger, that was a young lady making her way towards me slipping into the pic. I was having to wait for people to exit my scene, I like the abstract feel to it. ..have any spare ghosts over there?

I thought that was a speaker or tannoy system.

Needs to be a bit more obvious for old eyes like mine.

I have a few but the little blighters won't leave the house

    Re: The Catwalk at Dusk

I think I would lean toward the first one more. I like that the second has more of the arch, but I like the lighting and colors of the first a little better.

    Re: The Catwalk at Dusk

Thx PC and rylan...I like the atmosphere much better in the first, as well as some of the non-twists in the rail. I need to revisit number two back in adobe.

    Re: The Catwalk at Dusk

I like the perspective of the first one best. Exposure and color are spot on. It's a wonderful image, technicially superior. However, there is no emotive element for me. Not sure what I would add, but it needs something.
