Nicely done, though a little "hazy"...? Also a little lacking in contrast.

Love those shadows and lighting.

Composition looks good, don't crop! OK, maybe a tiny bit off the empty sky, which I would have felt differently about were it full with white puffy clouds. :-)

It does have a hazy look. Also, it could be the lack of clouds in the sky that makes it just a little bit plain. Beautiful view, though.

Beautiful. I'd crop a little of the sky though.

    Re: Cathedral Mountain

I'd like to see a touch more contrast and saturation (maybe). But that's it. Nice image!

    Re: Cathedral Mountain

Decent shot. Not great but definitely colorful and w/o mistakes. The sky is a tad bland but that allows one to focus on the mountains better and also allows for consistent lighting. This would be nice on a magazine or related where they have text in the open, top blue sky area.

    Re: Cathedral Mountain

I think the lighting is perfect. I also feel you should crop some of the sky out and maybe a little of the left side but don't center the shot. I also think you should clone the houses, lower left that are hanging half way in the frame. I am 50-50 with just cloning them all. This is a great scene. Your timing here was excellent. Getting out at the right time really helps.

Thanks for the suggestions. I adjusted the contrast and upped the saturation along with cloning out the a couple half houses. Let me know.

That looks much better, but it looks slightly dark for me overall. If it isn't just me, adding a bit of brightness before adding the saturation and contrast will do the job.

I like your edit, but I do agree with pp that now it seems a tad dark ... but you've got the right idea for editing... Just bring it back up a little... It's beautiful!! Awesome comp.

The composition of the last photo is really nice; the foreground water just draws you right into the scene.

Crash - Your shot looks like a triple exposure, red-green-blue filter doohickey?
