    Re: Cathedral

It is nice and a fab place.

Somehow it feels tilted slightly to the left and to me it looks like the highlights in the chandeliers are blown out.
    No, I DON'T need that.

Agree on the tilt. Otherwise, it looks great.

I like the overall colors and the position of the camera - I think you have done very well being in the very center of the church giving it a good dimensional feel. Some of the highlights are a little blown ...but maybe on this it does not matter so much. You could compensate for the lens caving in at the ends, but I think it is ok as is as well.

Wow, what a capture. The detail on the ceiling/walls is just phenomenal and it almost feels as if I'm in the cathedral myself. I imagine this is an Orthodox church? Did you happen to get any other photos while in there?

    Re: Cathedral

Yup, very orthodox. We were there for a baptism, so plenty of pics were had, but mostly of family.

I love the composition, exposure, processing, symmetry ect. You pretty much nailed this one. Nice work.

    Re: Cathedral

A stunning image thats only spoiled slightly for me by the sloping walls. I think trying to fix this would wreck it so leave as is.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

Great shot... It shows the true beauty of the design of the cathedral... Hard to compomise on exposure and what detail you want to come out.

    Re: Cathedral

Good detail Nate. I think the symmetry is the logical choice. My only complaint is the overabundance of orange, which I find a bit overwhelming. You may be able to correct this by adding a little blue. Very nice shot though. I wonder what it would look like very large and perhaps with the benches cropped out?

    Re: Cathedral

    Thanks everyone.
It is indeed orange, but because of all the gold in there, the coloring is not very exaggerated. Too bad I didn't have my 12-24 with me at the time of this.
