    The catcher

    Spring softball in NW Florida, USA.

    Taken on 17 March 2004 at a local high school game.


    Camera: Nikon F5
    Lens: VR AF 80-400mm f4.5D~ Nikkor
    Film: Fuji Superia 400


    Used the unsharp filter in Photoshop LE, too.

    I think I might have had a hard time concentrating on the pitch if I was at bat in my high school days with that catcher behind the plate. I think you did a nice job getting the shot. I would only say that I think the fence in the background should be straight with the frame in this. If the horizontal pole section aligns with the frame so will the vertical pole. O thers might disagree but just my feeling.
