Re: The Cat In The Bag

    I love that !
Not because I'm wholly owned by a cat.
Nice rich blacks, grainy, yet showing the whiskers.
And out of focus floor, yet sharp enough to show the wood grain.

Once again, really good. What was used for the lighting on the cat?

Another excellent shot Guillermo, nothing to critique. Very good call on the crop, and like the others, I really like the composition and the grain.

Re: The Cat In The Bag

I have to say this is the best cat shot I have seen in a long while. I'm not a cat lover!

Looks like the cat is looking out of the middle of a flower.

Other than that Paul said it all.

    Guillermo,

Great shot. If only he had a hat and a cigarette hanging out his mouth .. a tribute to Dr Seuss!

The only thing I might do is trim off a bit of the top to remove the slight feeling of depth. I think this may force the viewer to the cat a bit more.

    Great shot!

How did you do the lighting on the cat?
And how did you get that "grainy" look?

Re: The Cat In The Bag

Thank you all for your nice comments.

Lighting: ambient from a nearby window.
Grain: inherent as this is shot on film (Tri-x)
