I think I like it better with the sky cropped off the top and I'm thinking it might be just a tad dark although I do like the color saturation and making it lighter might kill the saturation.

Having a post made to look like it is alive with a living tree in the background is pretty funny. Not sure if that was your intent but that was my first impression. Could use to be lighter and have a little more contrast. Interesting image.

A very interesting Halloween type shot with the warm colours of the carved tree contrasting with the cool blue of the sky. The dark branches also add to the Halloween look and the orange tree carving was well placed in the frame as well. Very effective!
