    Cars

I lightly retouched this in PS to increase the contrast. My favorite part about the picture is how striking the sky and clouds are. Thoughts?

Good angle, strong colors, love the shadows and yes, it's an amazing sky. You could go from a good shot to a great shot if you touched up that leak (or whatever) under the second car and softened up the hard shadow on the bottom left. Nice shot! (Gotta love those BMWs)

With a sky like that ?
It's got to be the Sigma 10-22.
Judging by the distortions, I'd say 10mm

    Correct!

Thanks for the comments and suggestions, I'll see what I can do about some touch ups

    Re: Cars

All right, here's a touched up copy. I took the hard shadow out of the bottom left corner, removed the water stain from the asphalt, and straightened the horizon a bit.

    Re: Cars

Here' are a couple more from the same series. The main fault with #2 is that the sharpness fades away down the line of cars.

    Thoughts?

    Re: Cars

Those are also nice shots... with amazing skies.
    - Yes, number 2 has a shallow DOP (depth of field). You could get a deeper/longer focus by increasing your f-stop to, say, f11 or f22.
    - Number 3 could use some fill-in flash to add detail in the wheels and tires. Also... I know you're trying to create a special effect by using your Sigma 10-22 but you're getting a lot of distortion which I think takes away from the gorgeous lines of that car.
    - Number 1 was greatly improved by your retouching.

That's just my opinion. Let's see what others have to say.

    Re: Cars

I'm thinking #2 is the way to go as the sky is still great and in #1 the person standing behind the main figure is really distracting.

There aren't enough cars in #3.
    No, I DON'T need that.

I forgot to clean up the figure that distracts in photo #1. What about this:

I am very impressed with your editing skills. I don't have the software to allow this type of editing. What software did you use?

    Re: Cars

    Thank you, Ptax!

I currently use PhotoShop CS3, but most of the edits I performed can be done with older versions of PhotoShop.
