    Carnival Lady

I am backkkk.....I would love a critique on this photo. I took it this past Carnival Season while I was in Venice. I just love her bright colors!

The composition is really good. I feel you captured her character and that is what you are after and also is the hardest part for me. I think that I would sharpen it some and try and bring out the colors a little more but, well done.

Thank you for the comments. It is darker on here than on my original photo. On that one the colors are much brighter. Not sure why it darkend after I posted it here??

    Re: Carnival Lady

Isn't Venice wonderful? I've been a couple of times, last time over the last new year. But never over Carnival (it's on my wish list!)

You have captured a really good expression. The skin looks a little warm though - as though it has just a tad too much magenta in it. (Maybe it is reflected off the costume). Try adjusting the skin tone a little and see how the colour of the costume comes up.

    Hope that helps
