    Be Careful Where You Land...

I took my new Canon S3 IS--a camera which makes even me appear to be a reasonable photographer--to a family outing at an amusement park, and, while waiting for the tickets, I observed this, perhaps disturbing, encounter.

P.S. This is my first attempt at posting, so I am not sure I did it right. Having to resize the pictures to fit does lose some of the detail. Am I missing something here?

Fascinating...I've seen this scenario before. Great series.

    Rocket,

Great series. Definitely not only an interesting series but also educational. You posted the shots fine, everything seems good to me. The colors are a tad bland, but that's more a personal thing and can be easily fixed. Good shot and a very interesting subject.

    Welcome to the boards,

    Jared

Yes, the colors are bit bland, I believe because it was in the shade,
and because the bench and sidewalk actually are a bit bland anyway.
I am still amazed at the great amount of detail this camera provides.

Great series!! And I respectfully disagree with the others about the background... if it were brighter, the wasp and the ants woulnd't stand out against it as well. I've seen this played out many times, but never thought to capture it. Great eye!
