    cant deside B&W or color

    shot this in my mothers back yard. I did one in more vivid seating and the other in B&W

    You mean you used the b&w setting of your camera? You could get much better result converting the color photo after the shot. For your decision, I'd say choose the color one.

    thanks and I agree with you . I like the rust colors and too bad there were more water on top of the barrel to pick up the reflection of the sky

    Color, the rust and the blue in the water add a lot.

    Color.

    Your shooting angle is much better in the color image. The reflection is much better too.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    I am torn between the colors, but too much shadow and lack of tonal range, and the b&w which is a more awkward shooting angle but the shadow details and tones are much better. I would say desaturate the color version slightly and bring out some more shadow detail in it. It is too contrasty.

    I think more details are visible now. Still, the subject of interest here is not very...interesting. Then of course, that's my very subjective opinion

    hey I dont mind the critiques. I know it was one of my first shots with the new camera and I havent really got s chance to go out and explore.
