    Cannot see photographs

Overbeyond, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

The above is the message I get when I try t see images. Seems a bit sudden and strange.
    Any help please.

    Same here!

While this is the weirdest thing that occured to me so far there's been irregulairities for a while on the website (for instance, not being able to instantly post a message or a reply to an existing message because "the administrator doesn't allow two post more than two messages within 30 seconds" while I didn't tried (or possibly could) post several messages in so little time.)

Also, I may have to try to load a picture 2 or 3 times before it works when I submit some of my own work.

Other anormal things recently occured as well although I can't think about another example right now.

I could see the pictures yesterday, but today I have the same problem as you. Can't see the pictures and when I click the link, I get the same message.

Is anyone still having this problem? I can't replicate it.

Yes, I still have the problem. Any thread with pictures I open, I only see thumbnails and not the pictures.

    Re: Cannot see photographs

I'm having the same issues. I took some screen shots of what I saw. The first is the original thread with the image posted in it. I have never seen a thread come up like this before... The second is the screen that pops up when I click on the "link" next to the thumbnail...

    Re: Cannot see photographs

I can't even see the pics that I just posted here... I uploaded them the same way I always do, and I have never had them show up like this. When I clicked on the name of the image, it did open for me in my default program for viewing jpegs. None of the other posts I tried to look at did that.

    Re: Cannot see photographs

I have noticed yesterday that when I open a thread, instead of the pictures showing in the thread I see them as attachments, which i then have to click on and they open in a seperate window. So while ultimately i can see the pics, it is very strange to have to open them in seperate windows.
Also, as Seb has mentioned, I too sometimes see a window telling me I cannot reply to threads until after a 30 second time. Does not want me replying to more than one thread within a 30 sec. period.
This last issue has occured ocassionally for the last 2 months or so, for me. I am using Windows XP with SP2, and internet explorer 6.0
please do not edit and repost my photos

    Re: Cannot see photographs

Okay, I'll report this to the engineers. It could be they are working on something that has affected images. All Consumer Review sites are linked. Thanks everyone.

I've got the same setup as you Gary. But it's rare that I respond to more than one or two posts at a time, and I haven't seen the error. I know that you and a few others do though. Are you seeing the images normally today?

Michael, thank you for the screen shot. That's a big help.

In the meantime, give this a try. I have no idea if it will work, but it wont hurt.
Log out, delete temporary internet files and log back in again. See if it makes a difference.

    Re: Cannot see photographs

I always get the 30 second message when replying to posts...if it's the 2nd or more that I've responded to.

    Fixed?

I think I found the problem. Let me know if you still can't see the images.

And I apologize for the problem. I'm not sure why the changes occured. But I hope I've fixed it now.

I was having the same problem but a refresh sorted it out. However, I have to refresh nearly all the posts but not all.

    I also get a 30sec message
