    Cannon shot

    Just wondering how this works?

    Cool shot!

    I think its lacking color and vibrance, fortunately these fireworks type shots are abstract enough that theres a widely acceptable tonal range, theres a lot you can do with them. I had a try at it, I duplicated a layer, erased the ground, and bent the tonal curve to raise mids, and mostly highs, kept black and white points. Adjusted the hue, ah, I forget but you pretty much can land anywhere on the hue slider you want for this type of shot (so long as the grass isn't adjusted with it). For the ground layer, I adjusted hue +13 and saturation +6. Sharpened, croped to 5x7 ratio, resized and posted here.

    I love the color adjustment Anbesol, but think I like the slightly wider angle (you cropped it a tad ..). Shots like these make people realize that photography is definitely an ART ...
