Canadian View Of The United States!

I know this is not the greatest for many of the people on this site...but for a rookie I was excited something like this came out of my camera!! Ya it's not super sharp...but I was in a boat fishing in Canada (waves and tough to hold centered)...and the U.S. side looked beautiful!! I'm still learning how to make the black border thinner?

Welcome to the forum. Shot looks great.As for the border, it looks fine to me but if you want to change the size what I do is
Start out with your image then select canvas size. Increase to desired dimensions and have it fill with white. Do this again, but change the dimensions for the next border size and have it fill with black. You can save this whole proceedure as an action.

Good proportion between water, shore and sky. You picked just about a perfect time of day it seems!

Gary's is a great way to do border, also consider just a simple single black line or white/black alternated as a border.
