    Re: Canadian monument in France

I think the composition on #1 is excellent. #2 I don't find is anywhere as interesting, however. My only issue with both of them is that the colours are bland and the lighting is as well. Use the curves tool and a tad of contrast to give the viewer a bit more..."excitement" and slightly saturate #1 a bit. Otherwise, its a great shot. You might also consider giving the sky in #1 a bit more of a blue tone, or masking it and replacing it alltogether.

    Re: Canadian monument in France

nice composition..I like the red popping from the whitescale. My first thought is to crop down on the first one to make it more landscape size. I see now the lettering of the memorial..but the upper right is a little too much void for me. My opinion anyway...next
Please ask to edit photos and I'll do the same!
    Thx, Rod

I love these. I wouldn't change a thing from the originals.

Alderse, your first two pics are effective in their compositions, but perhaps both are cropped a bit too tight. Still, they have appeal. Your #3 pic is very good. I would like to see a little more of the cityscape that the woman seems to be gazing at. A bit more of the scene in the lower right corner and less of the wall behind her.
    Still, very good.

I'm in love with these. Your second image and the re-crop of the first image are the best.
    No, I DON'T need that.

Very nice! A strong feeling of modernism.
