    Can you see the face?

afdlips and I went to Eldorado Canyon today.
There was a creek underneath, and there was a face on the rock.

See if you spot it, and of course, critiques and edits are welcome.

Re: Can you see the face?

Use an ellipse selection in Photoshop or PaintShop Pro with a Feather adjustment of about 10 pixels in the menu. Place the ellipse around the face area. Then you can use brightness, levels, or even a little colour warmth or saturation to emphasize the face, but only a little because it needs to look natural. When you get what you want go to deselect or select none depending on which program you are using.

Et voila, you have given the face a little more visibility and punch.

I see more than one face.... but then again, i haven't taken my pills yet

after brightening the face just a little bit, i would still add that you were a bit too close to that big rock at the bottom.... but on the overall, i like the photo..

I am as interested in the trees as the face. I feel the overall picture is to dark. I agree with Ron on the PS work and you also seem to have to much magneta or hue going on in the sky. I would like to see a more natural blue. Maybe a slight desaturation would help.

Re: Can you see the face?

I realize that my comment might have been taken as a joke, but i do see more than one face, 3 to be exact, and to be a bit picky, i would say on of them has 2 different versions!

If with white balance, I might see more faces.

Re: Can you see the face?

I guess a reshoot is in order.

Heh. But I was going to go back there anyway, the sky wasn't that great. The sky you see here was "polarized" in PS.
