    Calm after the Winter Storm

    Hi all its been a wile since i have posted a photo for some good Critique , I was finishing up a shift on trouble calls and it had stoped snowing and the wind had died down for a few minutes so i decided to stop the truck and grab this one .


    Critique is very welcome as always

    this is a really lovely picture, and i love the gap in the trees that sort of leads the snow into them, and the composition is spot on. the sky might be a little blown out in parts but it doesn't really effect the image that much.

    a very well taken snow scene...

    Superb, wish we had snow like this in the UK.

    I gues the orignal is much better as some of the branches are quite pixalated on my monitor.

    looks great, maybe a bit of contrast and a crush on the black will make it pop.

    of all the members, I must say that you are easily the most improved photographer here. Your photos are really developing to be quite stunning shots.

    I really like it! Your composition is elegant. The nearly square format is right on for your subject. I especially like the tones and the soft light on the snow in the foreground.
