    Caged Candle

I was bored and started playing with my F717's longer exposures. I shot this candle on my mantle at F2.0 -2.0EV exposed for 5 seconds - while looking through the viewfinder I couldn't see anything. This is the result that showed up after 5 seconds.

What do you think? All comments welcome.

    Angry You suck...

This is quite frankly the worst picture I've ever seen. It's overdone and amateurish. Did you even try to get the thing in focus before you pulled the trigger????

Do you hear that? It's the sound of people being nice. Ya know HOW they're being nice? They're not commenting on your totally motarded attempt at photography! Didn't you even wonder why they didn't respond to your question? Didn't you get it when your post just trickled down the message board???? Sheesh!!!

You know what the best tip I can offer is? Ya know? Sell your freakin' camera and go back to designing web pages, because you SUCK!

    ROFLMAO!

I've only posted one photo so far and I believe it drifted off into oblivion. Commentless. So sad

This looks similar to the many photos I took learning about exposure times with a true film camera some years back. I used up a full roll in a night shooting in my small apt. only lit by candles or the lights on the tree (it was around xmas).

This a terrible photo from that night of my then-roommate. She spent most of time laughing at me as I wandered around our dim place. It still makes me smile though!

    Lol

I often wonder if that's what people are really thinking when you have like 100+ views and 2 responses LOL

I actually like the image but I think it would be improved by having a bit more flame present and having something (smoke-anything) filling that dark spot in the upper left section....

I think kep trying...BTW I really like pewter pitcher with the white flowers in Viewfinder post i just would like to see the flowers up above the pitcher just a smidge.

thnaks for responding and looking at my stuff and that I don't have enough time to always respond. i appreciate your input and time to look
