    Cades Cove Settler's Cabin

    Another Cades Cove shot. I also took a similar one but vertical, though I like this one better.

    Hi Cara,

    This is a nice shot, but for some reason I feel like you really needed to open up the lens on this one. I guess the fence feels too close to me, and thus I would have preferred more of the landscape involved in this scene. Looks to be a really pretty place worth more time spent taking pictures and getting that "perfect shot".

    This is good, although as Shrackman stated , steppeing back or opening the lens a bit more might have improved upon it. Still good though. It looks a bit washed out on my screen. Maybe the scan. Looks like a blend layer, multiply or overlay at about 30% would help this.

    I would like to see this from a slightly higher angle, although I know that's not always possible - it's just that the angle of the cabin is fantastic but the wood is distracting being in your face. I want a log cabin!

    I agree with the majority I believe - I think the focus is too much on the fence and not on the cabin. It looks like a beautiful place, though! Wow!
