    Cactus BW macro

    Potted cactus in my house, I was just a little bored but I think I got one I like.

    This is quite nice. I like the lighting, textures and patterns. Good overall composition too. I'd suggest burning in the reflection on the pot (low center). Nice work.

    Those cactus look great in black and white. Wish you could buy them that way. They're stunning. The speckled pot is nice also.

    Hello! While I love Cactus, and like the textures here, as well as your decision to present in black and white, I think the composition isn't what It could be.. IOW: You've captures a beautiful plant with awesome shapes and textures.. And to me, the Container takes away from being able to focus in on the cactus itself.. ((hope you don't mind...)

    I took your photo over to PS and cropped a bit, this crop left a bit of planter in the bottom right hand side, I cloned it out ( made it all black there) and there was a bit of a hot spot on one of the background "leaves" (what do you call them?) So, i burned that in.. Makes it a little more abstract in my opinion...Kinda reminds me of tentacles now, and spiders and...
