I think on the first one the thing sticking out of the gents head is a big distraction and is a compositional no, no. Always be aware of background distractions. I think the best of the lot is #4.

Backgrounds was also my first thought. A step to the left on the forth one, to put the flags between them, would have put the final touch on a nice shot. - Terry
