A Busy Day In The Channel

I'm wondering about this one. Would it look better with the couple cropped out?

Yeah, I think this would be better if you cropped just to the right of the guy's shoulder. Having people in a scenic like this can be a good thing, but pressing the shutter when they are doing something interesting...or not blocking on of the subjects, is tough. :-)

Thanks, Charles.......that's just what I was thinking.

Also another crop to get rid of that portion of the pier, which doesn't make the horizon line so close to the center.

Just stopping by to check out your latest too! I like p3 with the crop out of both the people & the pier. It simplifies your subject which now appears as boaters coming & going from their marinas enjoying a day at the lake. Good color too, the blues are very rich and summer-y. Cat
