Burning thru the fog

My intent for this photo was to capture the morning sun rays as they past thru the trees, but I think the picture is more about the glow beyond the trees. What do you think?

It's a good photo, but I think I would like it more if there were a little more contrast... have you used PS on it?

I think you have both, which is great - the radating lines of sunlight lead back to the brightness behind the trees, directing the eye towards the center of the picture. A bit more contrast and enhancement from PS would accent that more - but it is quite nice as it is with a unique "atmospheric' quality.

Thanks Aaron,

I added some contrast. Good ideal. I like it much better. Adding the contrast cleaned up the fog between the tress and the camera.

Very nice image, really captured the rays well with a good exposure. I like the added contrast but think that somewhere in between where you have it now and originally would be good as I liked the hazy misty feeling of it. Nice shot
