Godd crisp image and I like the size relation between the Buddha and the man. I do not feel though that the mans position is doing any good here. Somehow, either by his clothing and/or his seemingly hurried walking by, it feels to me that Buddha is not on his mind. As if he wandered onto the set and does not belong in the story.
Hi Dan and Gary,
Thanks for the comments. I need to explain the background: most people would show their respect to Budda by bowing their heads down, however, there is a zen saying which briefly means that if a person truly believes in Budda; Budda is part of that person. In other words, it is well integrated into his daily activities. Back to the picture, the man is in a hurry in front of the statue and the statue seems nothing special to him. In the zen speaking, he has reached the highest level in practicing buddism, besides, the statue is just a reminder of Budda but not the real Budda. Those are the reasons for the title.
